Self Guided Walking/Hiking Holidays along the South West Coastal Path
We offer a wide variety of walking holiday packages covering the entire South West Coast Path passing through Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and Dorset. Our standard walking holiday packages are designed to suit most walking abilities from daily 6 to 7 mile strolls to more demanding 16 to 18 mile hikes.
What is a Self Guided Walking Holiday?
A self guided walking holiday is a mixture of organisation and freedom. All the planning and organisation is taken care of for you, but each day is taken at your own pace with no schedule or pressure from either being part of a group or sticking to a timetable. All you need to ensure is that you arrive at each night's accommodation in time to check in and get a good night's sleep.
What's included in a standard walking holiday with Budget Walking?
- Accommodation - single, twin, or double room/s with en-suite facilities according to your requirements subject to availability (family rooms may also be available)
- Breakfast (unless it's not required)
- Luggage Transfer each day to your next accommodation
- Phone Line Support between 9am and 7pm, 7 days a week
- Itinerary showing your accommodation locations
- Maps and Guidebooks
- Optional extras such as packed lunches are all available but not automatically included- we don't include these without asking you in order to keep the cost as low as possible and so we don't charge you for a service you don't want.
3 Easy steps to booking with Budget Walking
- STEP 1
Once you have completed our enquiry form a quote will be sent for your feedback and acceptance. - STEP 2
When you accept our proposal, Budget Walking will require a deposit payment of £150 per person with the outstanding balance being paid no later than 6 weeks before the start of your holiday. If you make a booking within 6 weeks of departure, full payment will be required. - STEP 3
Sit back, relax and wait for your information pack to arrive whilst counting down the days to your holiday.
Additional services
In addition to providing your walking holiday, Budget Walking will be delighted to assist you with arrangements for long stay car parking, people transfers and packed lunches. Other optional extras include maps and guidebooks, and upon request, we can vary your accommodation wherever possible from Hostels to Hotels and everything in between.
